Carolina Construction School is an Accredited Assessment Center for NCCER. Carolina Construction School in conjunction with NCCER offers a complete series of entry and journey-level written knowledge assessments as part of NCCER’s National Craft Assessment and Certification Program (NCACP). These assessments evaluate the knowledge of an individual in a specific craft area and provide a prescription for upgrade training when needed. In addition, CCS offers journey-level performance verifications for the following crafts: heavy equipment operator (Dozer, Backhoe, Excavator, Compaction).

NCCER also offers a series of academic knowledge tests for secondary career and technical education teachers, which assist states in implementing statewide accountability systems.

All assessments are based upon the NCCER curriculum and have been developed in conjunction with subject matter experts from the industry and Prov™, NCCER’s test development parter.
